The Best Game Day Chili

I've made this recipe for the past 15 years and it is hands down something I am willing to brag about! It's so delicious. It's not truly fall or game day in my house if chili isn't on the stove.

So here's the deets for The Best Game Day Chili:

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 pounds ground beef

  • 2 cans of 29oz tomato sauce

  • 2 cans light kidney beans

  • 2 cans petite chopped tomatoes

  • bell peppers (diced)

  • vidalia onion (diced)

  • 2 packs of chili seasoning

  • 2-3 tablespoons of grape jelly

RECIPE

Ground your beef. While that is cooking, in another pan, cook your onion and peppers. Once you get those cooked the rest is so easy! Just dump the remaining ingredients in the pot and mix everything together!I know the grape jelly seems crazy, but it adds the sweetness of a beer without having to wait on the alcohol to cook out! I let mine simmer on low for about 15 minutes before I serve. We like to top ours with shredded cheddar, sour cream, jalepenos, cornbread and fritos! You could also do avacado, bacon...whatever you love!

I hope this brings your home as much warmth and love and happiness as it does ours on Game Days!

Thanks for being here!

Hi, thanks for stopping by!

I'll admit it- I'm a snob when it comes to certain things... coffee, the way clothes fit on my 30-something fluff, lashes and anything beauty that makes my life easier.

I want life to be boujee (but on a budget) peppered with simplification to my daily routine. If I find something I love, you'll see it here!

Want me to be your guiena pig and try something? Let me know!
